Why should I hire a professional organizer?

We make a daunting process fun and help you enjoy your home with a physical space that is clear and more inviting.

What can I expect from a session?

Everyone’s home is different and we will carefully craft a plan that fits your lifestyle. You can definitely expect a lot of movement! After we have learned about your goals for your space, we will begin by sorting, categorizing, and moving things to set them up for the best functionality. This process involves deciding what should stay, and what should go. Whether that means moving your items to a better location in your home or helping you decide if it’s time to let it go. We may also bring in carefully chosen products that help your space function better. By the end of your organizing session (or sessions), you’ll have the space you dreamed of!

How long is going to take?

Honestly, it varies. A small space like a kitchen pantry or closet may only take a day, while entire homes or more complex projects may take days. Packages can be customized to meet your needs.

What is included in Lonestar’s service?

We begin with a free consultation to understand your needs and understand your goals, assess the space, and create a plan of action. We will help you declutter and organize based on your routine. The goal is to make it realistic for you to maintain. We will shop for any organizing products or packing supplies (we’ll return anything you don’t use). We will take away donations, recycle boxes and packing materials, make arrangements for trash hauling, and anything else related to the scope of the project. Our main goal is to help you get and stay organized!

Do I need to be home or work directly with you during my session?

That’s totally up to you. Some clients like to be involved, while others prefer to set up a plan and return to a finished product. We are happy to work alongside you or do the work for you. It just depends on what you’re comfortable with and we’ll be fine with whatever you decide.

Should I have a clean house before you get started?

Please do not feel pressured to change anything. In fact, we’d prefer you don’t! That way we can get a better idea of the natural state of your space and how we will make a realistic plan that works best.

Is my privacy protected?

Absolutely! We value and respect your privacy and confidentiality. That’s why Lonestar Organizing is a registered LLC. Every client signs a contract, which binds both parties to lawfully abide by privacy and non-disclosure. The terms of the agreement protects any personal information that may be disclosed during an organizing session. We also carry liability insurance that covers all organizing staff and all organizers are background checked before being hired.

What is your cancellation policy?

Any sessions canceled within 24 hours are subject to a $150 fee at Lonestar’s discretion. We are happy to reschedule, when necessary. Please be advised that availability may be limited.
